Wildflowers of Indian Creek in the Red River Gorge - Length 17:07

David Taylor with US Forest Service takes us on a guided hike along Indian Creek Road in the Red River Gorge. David will cover wildflowers, ferns, and some invasive species to look out for! He’ll also highlight a few upland ridgetop wildflowers of interest.

Each year KNPS organizes field trips to explore Kentucky’s natural areas. Trip leaders are knowledgeable about the area being explored and the native plants and plant communities that are found in that area.

For the best experience and to protect sensitive plant habitats, the number of participants in the field trips will usually be limited. Because of this, pre-registration will be required for all trips. Registration forms will be made active 30 days before each trip.
